Disk Duplication- for Efficient Storage & Dissemination of Data

Disk duplication is becoming increasingly important lately for storage of data, dissemination or promotion of data etc. Many types of disk duplications are available nowadays. Be it CD to CD duplication, or DVD to DVD duplication, the process has become very easy due to the introduction of new technologies. Companies carrying out disk duplication also carry out media conversions. For example, Tape to CD conversion or vice-versa.

How does the duplication take place?
First of all, whenever duplication is done, it takes place in large volumes of 1000 to 10,000 CDs at a time. The data is transferred to a glass master and after that a metal stamp is created. This metal stamp is used on the new CD after a layer of aluminium is placed on it.

Tape to CD conversion
Tape to CD conversion has become very popular. Requests for converting vintage tapes of favourite songs into disks are coming up everyday. Playing songs on a disk is an easier task, because of the present day technology in vogue. Video recording is still done on cassettes (in some if not all equipments).. For running such video tapes on computers, they have to first be converted to disks. Whenever people record songs in studios, tapes are used for good clarity. Later, they are converted to disks so that people can listen to them at their homes.

With several companies in the market, people or even organizations needn’t invest any time, money or effort in these conversions and duplications. They can get it all done for a minimal price by expert professionals. .
